What to include
- The occasion in your family’s words: griha pravesh, vastu pooja, satyanarayan katha with housewarming.
- Day and date, and the muhurat time of the pooja or havan.
- The meal time (prasad, lunch or dinner) — many guests come only for this part, so it helps them plan.
- The full new address: flat or house number, wing or tower, society name, landmark, area and city.
- The Google Maps link of the new home — in the WhatsApp message, since links in a video can’t be tapped.
- Who is inviting (family name) and a contact number.

Small tips
- Send it one to two weeks ahead. A griha pravesh is usually smaller than a wedding, but guests still plan the morning around the pooja time.
- Mention parking if the society has visitor parking rules.
